72 students took admission in MBA, 10 in MCA in remote mode | Biden News

Indore (Madhya Pradesh): A total of 72 students took admission in the MBA and 10 in the MCA course offered in remote mode by the Center for Distance and Online Education, an entity of Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya (DAVV).

Additionally, another 24 students, including 17 in the MBA and 10 in the MCA course, expressed interest but did not submit a fee to confirm their acceptance.

The center used to offer a three-year MBA course in remote mode. This year, the University Grants Commission (UGC) allowed it to offer two-year MBA and two-year MCA courses in remote mode.

Due to late approval from UGC, the acceptance window opens at DAVV when acceptance to regular MBA and MCA courses has concluded at the college. Because almost all candidates have attended regular courses, the DAVV receives fewer applications. Following the permit delays, universities also got less time to fill seats.

Center director Prof Pratosh Bansal said that students who wish to continue the MBA and MCA courses in remote mode, can also apply on Tuesday.

As per the UGC schedule, November 15th is the last date to enroll in the MBA and MCA programs. We will grant entry permits on a first-come-first-served basis, he added.
